Mr. E. V. Lokhandwalla commenced his career in 1951, immediately after he graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Pune.

The first part of his illustrious career was marked by 16 years of meritorious service with M/S Gregson, Battey & King, Chartered Architects. During his tenure he was given independent responsibility for Handling, Designing, Tendering, Estimation, Detailing, Administration & Negotiation of varied prestigious projects of the firm.

In 1966, Mr. E.V. Lokhandwalla started independent practice. His immense experience and resolute commitment to excellence in service rendered invaluable credibility to the firm. This brought in numerous prestigious clients, many of who continue to be associated with EVL to this day.

During this time, he was:

		Fellow of Institute of Engineers (India)
		Member of Practicing Engineers Architects & Town Planners Associations
		Fellow of Institute of Valuers

In the 21 years of independent practice several projects feature as hallmarks in his career.

Mr. E.V. Lokhandwalla passed away in 1986, leaving behind a rich legacy of personal and professional values, which the firm E.V. Lokhandwalla & Associates will live by for years to come
